我国人类学家吳汝康新著“巨猿下頜骨和牙齿化石”一书,已由科学出版社出版。这是一部系统研究到目前为止发現于我国广西柳城等地的巨猿下頜骨和牙齿化石全部材料的专著。全书共分三大部分:卽“巨猿下頜骨”、“巨猿牙齿”和“巨猿在分类系统中的地位及其生活习性等問題”。在第一部分,作者詳細地記述了已发現的三具巨猿下頜骨的年龄性別、形态特征,以及有关下頜骨的各种測量結果和下頜枝的复原等情况。在第二部分,作者对1094枚巨猿牙齿归类作了詳細的描述,并对其萌出順序以及大小比例等问題作了闡述。在第三部分,作者对
Our anthropologist Wu Rukang new book “great ape mandible and fossil teeth,” a book, has been published by the Science Press. This is a systematic study of monographs of all the materials of the great ape, maxilla and dental fossils found so far in Liucheng, Guangxi, China.
