先从例子谈起,上海中学就171位学生调查表明:71.35%的学生认为他们写作能力的提高主要得益于课外。我1984年初对一个班60位同学的问卷调查表明:认为课外书对写作帮助大的43人,占71.67%。一所是大城市中学,一所是农村中学,调查数字相差无几。可见农村学生对课外阅读的兴趣、要求、认识并不亚于城市中学。这就要求我们教师尽可能地满足学生的课外阅读,要象对待语文教科书那样重视它。可现实是一种什么状况呢?请再看对4个乡10所学校的调查统计表:
Starting with the example, Shanghai Middle School surveyed 171 students: 71.35% of students believe that their ability to write is mainly due to extracurricular activities. A questionnaire survey of 60 classmates in a class at the beginning of 1984 showed that 43 people who think that the extracurricular books are helpful for writing account for 71.67%. One is a big city middle school, and the other is a rural middle school. The survey figures are almost the same. It can be seen that rural students’ interest, requirements, and understanding of extracurricular reading are no less than those of urban middle schools. This requires our teachers to meet students’ extra-curricular reading as much as possible and to treat it as much as it treats language textbooks. What kind of situation can be realistic? Please look at the survey statistics for 10 schools in 4 townships:
