田径选手的高原训练的强度要适应缺氧条件,主要是要低于平原地区的强度,但又不可过低,而训练量则应保持在正常水平。田径选手的高原训练应考虑到,在缺氧条件下进行有氧训练,训练效果可以大为提高,而缺氧条件下的训练对无氧代谢能力的影响不明显。在整个高原训练阶段,使训练量和训练强度得到持续不断的相应一致具有重要的意义。
