In the vision of Marxist philosophy, value is the relationship between human needs and the objects that meet their needs. Marx said: “The universal concept of ’value’ is derived from people’s relationship to the external world that satisfies their needs.” (“Marx and Engels, Vol. 19, p. 406”) Marx believed that value is not merely an object. The attributes are no longer simply the needs of the subject, but the actual relationship between the attributes of the subject and the needs of the subject. That is, the object that value sums up is not an entity but a kind of relationship between subject and object.
