和田路小学的创造教育研究始于1980年。从“五小”科技活动、“和田十二技法”、创造教育特色课程建设到逐渐形成学校创造教育文化建设的发展之路是一条坚定的实践改革之路。进入21世纪,随着课程教材改革的不断推进,学校更关注创造教育发展的深层问题,对创造教育课程进行了整体优化和设计,在此基础上完善国家课程的校本化实施过程,并建立了创造教育特色课程体系。
