In 1935, I graduated from normal school, taught a year book to Hongkong magazine as art editor. Shortly after the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, I immediately gave up my career in Hong Kong and returned to Guangzhou to devote myself into this war that determines the survival of the Chinese nation. Since my family have gone to Guangxi to vote for relatives, I have no way to make ends meet and have no choice but to visit Wuxuan County, the hometown of Guangxi that I have never been to. Get help from progressive young people you just met, get a few bucks, buy some soil paper and ink colors, and create a war manga. What I could see at that time was probably a publication run by the Communist Party
