通过人工杂交将澳大利亚引进的低芥酸品系Zem-1的低芥酸基因导入芥菜型三系和云南地方优良品种,分别获得芥酸含量低、不育性状稳定的细胞质雄性不育系江矮A和恢复系88—122。江矮A与88—122组配的杂交组合江矮D1优势强,株型较矮而紧凑,耐旱、耐瘠,适应性较广,高产稳产,油酸含量35.41%,亚油酸33.06%,芥酸2.39%,含油量43.48%,恢复株率95%以上。1995~1996年全省旱地区试平均单产2090.1kg/hm2,较昆明高棵增产76.2%,较芥油一号增产7.9%。
