在全国大学英语四、六级考试中,考生感到最头痛的,也是对他们最富有挑战性的莫过于短文写作。从语言学习的角度来看,产出技能(说和写的能力)总比接受技能(听和读的能力)难于掌握。从英语教学的方法来说,从小学到大学,英语课堂教学总是以词汇、语法和课文的讲解与操练为主,写作不仅没有专门的理论讲授,连实践的机会也很少。短文写作占四、六级试卷总分的15%,近几年来,学生的平均得分率在7-8%之间徘徊,不仅与其它考试项目的得分不相一致,也与他们在英语学习上投入的时间和努力程度极不相称。
Candidates feel most troubling in the CET exams in the country, but also the most challenging essay for them. From a language learning perspective, output skills (speaking and writing abilities) are often harder to grasp than skills (listening and reading abilities). From the point of view of English teaching methods, from primary school to university, English classroom teaching is always based on the explanation and practice of vocabulary, grammar and texts. Writing is not only not taught in a special theory but also has few practical experience. Short essay accounts for 15% of the total score of four or six papers. In recent years, the average score of students hovering between 7-8%, not only inconsistent with scores of other test items, but also with them in English learning The amount of time and effort invested is disproportionately high.
