美国著名数学家哈尔莫斯说过:“问题是数学的心脏”。数学教学过程实质上是数学问题的凸现与数学问题解决的认知操作过程。问题横贯纵穿于数学教学过程的始终,教师通过课堂提问这种手段可以引发学生对问题的思考,促进学生问题意识的形成和实践能力的发展。因此,教师要重视课堂提问的功能,重视通过问题启发学生积极的思维活动,以问题为主线来组织和调控课堂教学。一、数学课堂提问的功能提问的功能有很多,如用于启发思维、激活讨论、教学问诊、即时反馈、控制课堂、检查功课、提高课堂的效果等。为了方便记忆和操作,这里将提问的功能归纳为组织教学、检查教学、拓展思维启迪智慧三种功能。
