本刊这期发表了“当前中学数学教育中存在的問题”与“探討数学課程革新的座談会报导”两篇文章,它們給我們提出了一个很有意义也很重要的问题:中学数学現代化問題,卽如何根据我国社会主义建設蓬勃发展,高速攀登科学文化頂峯的要求,改革当前中学数学課程。这个問題已經不再是議論一下,而是提到日程上迫切需要解决的問題了。我們知道,我国人民在党的領导下依靠社会主义建设的总路线,以大跃进的发展速度和人民公社的組織形式,开創了我国社会主义建設按比例又高速度发展的持續跃进局面,我国社会主义建设已經进入了新的历史阶段;我国人民正在实現党所提出的十年內在主要工业产品产量方面赶上和超过英国,农业要四化
This issue of the journal published two articles: “The Problems in Current Middle School Mathematics Education” and “Discussions on Discussion of the Reform of Mathematics Curriculum”. They presented us with a very significant and important issue: the problem of mathematics modernization in middle schools. How can the reform of the current middle school mathematics curriculum be carried out in accordance with the vigorous development of socialist construction in our country and the requirement to rapidly climb the peak of scientific culture? This issue is no longer a matter of discussion, but refers to issues that urgently need to be resolved on the agenda. We know that our people have relied on the general line of socialist construction under the leadership of the Party, and with the speed of development of the Great Leap Forward and the organizational form of the people’s communes, we have created a continuous and rapid development of China’s socialist construction on a proportional and high-speed basis.
