20世纪初民营铁路迅速兴起,而在其发展中面临的最大问题是资金的筹集。如何筹集充足的路资则是民营铁路公司一直绞尽脑汁的难题,民营铁路公司的倡办者和支持者们试图通过若干途径获得资本,甚至有的别出心裁。但并没有摆脱资金严重不足的命运,成为清政府出台“干路国有”政策的口实。本文通过对铁路公司的集款途径、股金的管理和利润分配作一描述,并讨论股金的管理的漏洞及其原因。
In the early 20th century, the rapid development of private railways, while the biggest problem in its development is the financing. How to raise sufficient funds for road construction is a constant challenge for private railway companies. Proponents and supporters of private railway companies have tried to obtain capital through several channels, and some even have some ingenuity. But did not get rid of the fate of a serious shortage of funds and became the verdict of the Qing government’s promulgation of the “state-owned trunk road” policy. In this paper, we describe the ways of fund collection, management of stock dividends and profit distribution of railway corporations, and discuss the loopholes in the management of stock funds and their causes.
