摘 要:高中阶段对学生情感态度价值观教育的重要性自不必言说,但是在英语课堂上如何操作值得认真思考。本文从实践出发,分析了对高中生进行情感态度价值观的教育的必要性,并且举了两节以培养学生情感态度价值观为目的的教案供参考。

在学生高中学习阶段,我们应该一如既往的对学生情感态度价值观的教育,原因如下:
首先,强调“知识与技能、过程与方法以及情感、态度与价值观”的整合,是新课程改革的核心理念之一,回归生活是新课程改革的必然归属。作为教师,应该适应新课改对我们提出的新的要求,为学生的发展负责,为学生的终身发展负责。
其次,青少年时期是世界观、人生观、价值观形成的关键时期,具有极强的可塑性,因此,在这一时期要帮助他们明辨是非、善恶、美丑,树立正确的思想道德观念,对他们的成长至关重要,也关乎整个国家和社会的未来长远发展。
再次,学生“高分低能”的状况,即在学业评价上能够获得高分数,但是在工作和生活的实际中却表现较差,自立能力、人际交往能力、创新能力等多方面存在较大问题的现象必须改变。专家指出,在决定一个人成功的因素中,85%来自情商,即自信、领导能力、沟通能力及良好的人际关系等“软实力”,智商因素只占到15%。青少年情商教育缺失,短期可能在学习上收获高分,长期反而会离成功越来越远。
但是,学生到了高中,学习任务特别繁重,时间特别紧张,这就要求我们在教授知识的过程中,渗透对学生情感的教育,帮助他们形成正确的人生价值观。就英语学科而言,高中阶段主要任务是以教学大纲为依据,以新课程标准为准绳,培养学生运用知识的能力,努力提高学生的综合素质。我们可以充分利用阅读材料,在讲解做题思路,词汇知识和语法现象的同时,将情感态度价值观的教育渗透其中,调动学生的积极性,引导小组内互相交流,即达到对阅读材料的充分利用,又能提高学生的沟通交流能力。
方法一:提取词汇,连词成篇,提高写作能力的同时,引导学生形成正确的价值取向。
方法二:精选阅读文章,利用文章表达的中心思想与现实相结合,引发学生思考和讨论,同时练习口语提高交往能力。
下面,用两个教案来展示两种方法在实际操作中的应用, 希望能起到抛砖引玉的作用。
Sample lesson one:
Teaching tasks: One piece of VOA news about Hurricane Irene
Teaching aims:
1. To master the main idea of one piece of VOA news.
2. To learn some words and expressions that can be used in writing.
3. To improve the students’ sense of responsibility as a member of society.
Lesson type: Reading and writing
Teaching process:
Step1. Greetings. (2m)(This process can never be omitted because it is a good way to make both the teacher and the students in high spirits and it is a wonderful way to develop close relationship with the students. Greeting words can be various. Sometimes, you can even begin your class with a humorous story. )
Step 2. Reading(15m)
Read the news and finish the following tasks.
1. What’s the main idea of the passage?
2. How much are insurance companies expected to pay?
3.How many hurricanes are likely to hit the United States this year?
Check the answer in groups of four and ask two groups to display their answers.
Step 3 Main points in the passage. (10m)
1. This/ It is the first/ second time that clause(the present perfect tense)
2. under one’s guidance
3. present participle acting as the adverbial modifier
Work in groups of four, and make sentences by using the above points. Ask volunteers to display their works.
Step 4 Writing a short passage of about 60 words according to the Chinese indication. (18m)
2010年4月14日, 地震袭击青海省玉树,造成数千人死亡。在老师的引导下,我们给受地震影响的人们捐赠(donate/ give away)了我们的零花钱。同时,我们呼吁所有的人, 作为一名社会成员,要有责任意识。拒绝冷漠,让温暖温暖你我(Avoid being cold. Let warmth warm each other. ) 。
Ask volunteers to display their works.
Sample lesson two.
Teaching material: Reading in Module 2 Book 5 by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research press
Teaching aims:
1. To enable the students to understand the text.
2. To lead the students to talk about what is a job worth doing.
3. To arouse the students sense of responsibility to the society no matter what job one does.
Lesson type: Reading and Speaking
Teaching process:
Step1. Greetings.
Step 2. Introduction (5m)
T: What job do you want to do in the future? And why?
Volunteers to answer the questions.
(The students’ answers may vary but the teachers should give the students reasonable assessments and lead the students know no matter what they do, to some degree, they make contributions to the society.)
Step 3. Extensive reading& detailed reading.
Read the passage and match the headings with the paragraphs. (3m)
Ask some students to answer the question.
Read the passage carefully and do exercise 4 on page 13.(12m)
Work in groups to check the answer and ask two groups to display the answer.
Step 4. Role-play. (25m)
Topic: Timoteo Apaza acts as the human traffic signal in the most dangerous place with little pay, but what he does is significant. Are you willing to do such a job in the future?
Make a role-play according to the topic in the study group. 15 minutes for them to prepare.
Ask volunteers the put on their play.
