In order to solve the problems related to the mechanical properties of soil in civil engineering and mechanical engineering (including construction machinery, mining machinery and agricultural machinery, etc.), the study of the constitutive relation of soil has been paid attention to and obtained considerable results. However, due to the complexity of the mechanical properties of the soil and the diversity of engineering requirements, some problems are still difficult to solve. Based on the computer technology, this paper proposes a new idea for the study of the constitutive relations of soils with numerical methods in order to find new ways to solve more complex soil mechanics problems. For the sake of narrative convenience, this concept is tentatively referred to as NL numerical mechanics model of soil.
