两步计算应用题的特点是:只有应用题所要求的问题,而解题需要的两个条件,往往是一个已知,一个未知,也就是把解题必须其备的一个条件隐蔽起来,在题目里没有出现。而这个条件属于第一步计算解答的问题,必须由解题者自己提出。这个问题叫做中间过渡问题。这个中间问题是寻求解题途径的关键。教学两步计算应用题必须指导学生把脑筋用到想中间问题上去。怎样使学生学会揭示隐蔽的东西,找出中间问题呢?我们二年级三个班曾同时用几种教法进行试验,试验的情况简介如下。
