To enhance the immune response to hepatitis B vaccine, the authors report the results of a new oral adjuvant, taurine. They divided 86 healthy men with a negative serological marker for hepatitis B virus (HBV) seropositivity and an alanine aminotransferase (ALT) level <351 U / L into two groups, with an average age of 47.5 years in group A and 48.1 years in group B.
