图书馆是一所高职院校精神文明的象征,而每一所图书馆的正常运作、健康发展都离不开高职院校图书馆读者管理工作,读者管理工作不仅是图书馆安全与秩序的重要保障,同时也是高职院校图书馆保持活力与持续发展的必要条件。除此之外,图书馆的健康发展也离不开读者的阅读素养,这也是对图书馆这一学习职能的重要保障。由此可见,读者管理工作的继续改进不可松懈,读者阅读素养的提升也刻不容缓。
