在全国总人口中,农村人口占了比较大的比重。因而在小学生中,农村小学生又占了绝大部分。虽然现在已经在各乡镇中普及六年制的三年级的小学英语教育,但因为客观原因,学校还没有真正重视小学英语,使学生还是停留在只能书写的程度上,这种“聋哑式英语”并不能加强学生的语言交际运用能力。加强小学英语课程,对学生的未来发展提供了便利,同时也对教育公平和构建和谐社会起到了促进作用。
Among the total population in the country, the rural population accounts for a relatively large proportion. Thus in primary school students, rural pupils have accounted for the vast majority. Although primary school English education in the third grade of six years has now been popularized in all towns and townships, the schools have not paid any attention to primary school English because of objective reasons, so that students still stay at a level that can only be written. Such deaf and dumb English "does not enhance students’ ability of language communication. Strengthening the English curriculum in primary schools has facilitated the future development of students and at the same time has played a catalytic role in promoting education equity and building a harmonious society.
