PGE_2及PGF_(2α)的阴道释放方法应用于终止妊娠和引产方面已获得一些成功,但很多病例需要大剂量和多次给药才能有效。这由于天然前列腺素在体内代谢较快的缘故,而前列腺素的15-甲基类似物并非15-脱氢酶的底物,故较多地用于阴道给药。为了发展一种使前列腺素在阴道延长释放的方法,本文用含15(S)15-甲基PGF_(2α)甲酯的硅橡胶阴道环对未孕、早孕和中期妊娠的恒河猴进行了生物活性的研究。
Vaginal release of PGE_2 and PGF_ (2α) has achieved some success in termination of pregnancy and induction of labor, but many cases require high doses and multiple doses to be effective. This is due to the rapid metabolism of natural prostaglandins in the body, and 15-methyl analogues of prostaglandins are not 15-dehydrogenase substrate, so more for vaginal administration.
