Often, buildings with well-defined goals always play an attempt and demonstration role in the design and use of new materials. These model works are widely used in various functions of buildings. The design of the Bobingen Distribution Center Day presented a typical modernist theme: the different forms and effects of transparent structures. This simple, long-span truss wood structure is covered with a multilayer polycarbonate panel that offers even better thermal insulation than typical glass-curtain construction. Decorative facade panels and panels using the fit form, do not see any gaps. The use of such panels over large areas gives the entire building a translucent effect, neither the feeling of a wall nor the effect of a glass curtain. From outside to inside, only the outline and shadow of the inside staff can only be shown vaguely: from the inside to the outside, the same effect is also obtained, but the brightness is different. Light is diffused by the plastic material and gently into the room, creating a comfortable working environment.
