随着人类基因组计划的进行 ,各种疾病基因的定位、克隆已成为今后医学遗传学研究的重点。而基因组扫描技术正是致力于寻找疾病相关新基因的一种有效手段。 2 0世纪 90年代以来 ,随着微卫星 DNA技术成功用于基因组扫描研究 ,使基因组扫描技术由最初的手工操作发展到目前的自动化操作。基因组扫描技术的发展 ,不仅大大加快了人类单基因遗传病相关基因定位的速度 ,而且也使人类的高血压、糖尿病、肿瘤、精神分裂症等复杂性状疾病相关基因的定位和分离取得重大突破
