阅读是从书面语言中获取信息的一种复杂的智力活动,是从书面语言中获得意义的心理过程。阅读中所要感知的材料不是一个个单词,而是一系列连续的词、句、段组成的篇章。一些学生并不知道如何读英语,他们一个词一个词地读,对句子做无味而琐细的结构分析,常常用字典,一直做着书面和内心的翻译。造成这种现象的原因是没有人教他们如何正确地阅读。阅读能力是衡量一个人外语水平的重要标志之一,也是学习外语的重要目标。阅读教学本身的目标,是教给学生获取篇章信息的能力和技巧。
Reading is a complex intellectual activity that obtains information from a written language and is a psychological process that obtains meaning from a written language. The material to be perceived in reading is not a single word, but a series of consecutive words, sentences and paragraphs. Some students do not know how to read English. They read one word or one word. They do odourless and trivial structural analysis of sentences. They often use dictionaries. They always do written and inner translations. The reason for this phenomenon is that no one taught them how to read correctly. Reading ability is one of the important indicators of a person’s foreign language proficiency and an important goal for learning a foreign language. The goal of reading teaching is to teach students the ability and skills to obtain text information.
