美国《国际先驱论坛报》今年2月 1日载文称。无就业的经济复苏,这一概念在美国2004年的总统大选中曾广为辩论。但是现在,这个问题似乎具有了全球化的意义。国际劳工组织的最新统计数字表明: 去年全球经济以4.3%的速度稳固增长。可是,世界失业率仍保持在6.3%。经济学家和统计学家认为,这是一种令人担心的趋势,即经济增长所创造的就业机会大大低于从前。问题之一在于:技术进步正在减少大多数制造过程所需要的人数。
The U.S. “International Herald Tribune” said in an article published on February 1 this year. The concept of an unemployed economy has been widely debated in the 2004 U.S. presidential election. But now, the issue seems to have the significance of globalization. The latest ILO statistics show that the global economy grew at a steady rate of 4.3% last year. However, the world unemployment rate remained at 6.3%. Economists and statisticians think this is a worrying trend that economic growth creates jobs that are significantly lower than before. One of the problems is that technological advances are reducing the number of people needed for most manufacturing processes.
