巢湖市地处安徽中部,辖4县1区,面积9423km2,2003年末人口455万。通过巢湖市各级麻风病专业防治人员多年辛勤工作,各县区分别于1992年至1995年达到卫生部基本消灭麻风病的指标。为巩固成果,全市加强了对麻风病的监督监测。现对巢湖市2000～2003年麻风病的监测情况作简要分析和讨
Chaohu City is located in the central part of Anhui Province, with 4 districts and 1 district under its jurisdiction, with an area of 9,423km2 and 4.55 million people by the end of 2003.
