When implementing legal measurement units, the use of the terms “weight” and “quality” is commonly encountered. The confusion in the use of these two terms has been a long time, not only in our country, but also in the international community. So, as early as 1901, the 3rd International Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM) made a special statement to this effect: The word “weight” means the same quantity as “force”; the weight of an object is the mass of the object and the acceleration of gravity. Product; in particular, the standard weight of an object is the product of the mass of the object and the standard gravitational acceleration; the weight here is equivalent to the gravity of our country, ie weight is a synonym for gravity, which has always been in physics textbooks. Use the word weight in accordance with this principle.
