In the introduction and development of one-dimensional, two-dimensional, small-group time-space dynamics program, the thermal feedback calculation usually adopts the fuel-coolant two-zone channel lumped model. However, in the actual passage there is also a cladding and an air gap between the fuel and the coolant. For this reason, the analytical formulas of three regions and equivalent multi-regions are deduced. Both of these formulas can be used to improve the two-zone channel lumped model. When using the equivalent three-zone formula, the original program need not make a lot of changes, the improvement of the program easier to achieve. Use three
