毛首鞭虫为一种寄生于结肠的线虫,严重感染可引起儿童的慢性痢疾。本研究的目的旨在确定马来西亚东北半岛小学生的鞭虫病是否可诱发胃肠道潜隐性出血。该地区人群的鞭虫感染率较高,而钩虫的感染率则较低。
Trichuris sp. Is a nematode parasitized in the colon that can cause chronic dysentery in children. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the whipwormosis of primary pupils in Peninsular Malaysia could induce latent gastrointestinal bleeding. The prevalence of whipworms in this area is high, while the prevalence of hookworms is low.
