这是一个美丽的小牧村,也许可以说是一个小镇。一条清澈的河水由南向北穿过两边的高山湍湍而流,两边的山坡上生长着一片松树林,东边的山坡是秋季微微发黄的草甸和偶尔突出地表的青色岩石。西藏昌都县妥坝乡政府及恰曲村就坐落在这条山沟中。由于这里是国道318线江达段的一个比较重要的站点,所以,虽然地处边缘山区,仍显得热闹一些。在河两岩散落而新建的牧民定居点房屋群当中,最引人注目内要数妥坝乡中心小学啦。每天清晨,河边的公路上都会出现一群群匆匆而来的小学生,使人不禁发出一种充满希望和欣欣向荣的由衷情怀。对经济和文化非常落后的本地区而言,这所学校可真算得上是一个希望的摇篮啊！
