环境考古学已成为考古学的一个新的分支。在中国,环境考古已经取得了不少成果,而且已经开了中国环境考古学讨论会。大家都知道这个方法的内容和目的。简单地说,环境考古的目的是复原某个历史时期人类的生活环境。这个方法必须把握考古资料和相关学科的成果。在日本,环境考古工作开展得很多。特别在低湿地遗址和贝丘遗址的发掘中,我们经常使用这种环境考古的方法。日本的环境考古的内容比较宽。这里我根据日本史前贝丘遗址研究的情况,
