目前,由于我国大力发展电力牵引,因而电力机车通过长隧道要否机械通风,成为人们所关心、需待研究解决的问题之一。现搜集一些国内外资料,对此进行探讨,供作参考。国外铁路长隧道的运营通风,在1890年以前,大多是靠自然风及列车的活塞作用,并在隧道内安设供维修工人临时用的吸风装置来解决。1890~1917年间,采用洞口喷咀式机械通风较为普遍,但随着运量的不断增加,5公里以上的长隧道用这种通风方式效果不甚好,因此欧洲各国都采用电化来解决运营通风问
