Michael P.Oakes和纪萌(Meng Ji)联袂编辑的《语料库翻译学中的定量方法》一书以丰富的例证集中展示了如何利用语料库语言学中的统计分析方法开展翻译研究,内容翔实,论述充分。本文通过《方法》一书内容的简要介绍,分析了此书的特色和存在的不足。同时也指出《方法》一书对从事语料库翻译学探索的研究者有很大的启示和参考价值。《方法》一书给我们最大的启示莫过于翻译量化研究手段多维应用的必要性,同时研究者对各类体裁的译文分析也值得我们关注。
The book Quantitative Methods in Corpus Translatology, co-authored by Michael P. Oakes and Meng Ji, focuses on the use of statistical analysis in corpus linguistics to develop translation studies, with a wealth of examples full. Through the brief introduction of the book “Methodology”, this article analyzes the characteristics and existing problems of this book. At the same time, it is also pointed out that the book “Methodology” has great enlightenment and reference value for researchers engaged in the research of translation in corpus. The “Method” book gives us the greatest enlightenment than the quantitative analysis of translation means the necessity of multidimensional applications, and researchers of all genres of translation analysis is also worth our attention.
