本文从海明威生平入手,借助弗洛伊德精神分析的文艺观,试图阐述小说《弗朗西斯·麦康勃短促的快乐生活》中麦康勃与其妻玛格里特之间关系的微妙而深刻变化正是作者现实生活中与母亲、妻子等周边女性关系的生动写照,反映了海明威坎坷的心路历程。小说结尾那广受争议的一枪,表达了海明威对生命完结的悲观意识,预兆了自己将以某种特殊的、惊人的方式结束生命。
This article starts with Hemingway’s life and attempts to expound the subtle and profound changes in the relationship between MacConkey and his wife Margaret in the novel “Short Happy Life of Francis MacComp” with the aid of Freud’s psychology of literature and art Is a vivid portrayal of the author’s relationship with the surrounding women in the real life, such as mother and wife, reflecting the bumpy mental path of Hemingway. The controversial gun at the end of the novel expresses Hemingway’s pessimistic attitude to the end of life, premonition that he will end his life in some special and astonishing way.
