两步应用题是一步应用题的发展,又是解答多步应用题的准备和列方程解应用题的基础,在小学数学中具有承上启下的作用。 顾名思义,两步应用题由两个连续性一步应用题组成。其特点是第一个一步应用题的问题没有直接给出。因此,找出隐蔽的“中间问题”是解答两步应用题的关键,也是教学的难点。如何培养学生正确地找出“中间问题”的能力,可以根据儿童的心理特点,按适当分散、形式多样、由易到难、化繁为简等原则进行。
