1950年10月14—21日在基輔召開了蘇聯第七屆關於半導體性質的會議。這次會議討論了有關半導體各種现象的理論、半導體的新的種類和技術上的應用。會議指出,所有生產過程的高度機械化與自動化是實現偉大的共產主義建設計劃的先决條件,在機械化與自動化裝置中,半導體有最廣泛的應用,因此半導體研究是蘇聯物理學家們在建設共產主義社會的共同勞動中最光榮的任務之一。
October 14-21, 1950 in Kiev held the seventh Soviet Union on the nature of the meeting.
