周家福1922年出生于湖北省钟祥市张集镇沙河村一个比较富裕的农民家庭,自幼读书,19岁时考入重庆军医大学,主攻西医,毕业后被分配到国民党第十军军部医院。解放战争开始,周家福目睹了国民党军队的腐败,便请假离开了部队,来到了长沙仁爱医院,成了那里的一位医生。1949年秋,仁爱医院停办,离别家乡近10年的周家福回到了家乡沙河村。家乡人民得知周家福是高级军医,推荐他在当时仍缺医少药的家乡办起了沙河诊所,他被任命为诊所负责人。他带领全所医务人员艰苦创业,规范行医,让家乡及周边地区百姓得到医疗保障。
Zhou Jiafu was born in Shahe Village, Zhangji Town, Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province in 1922. He studied at his young age and was admitted to Chongqing Military Medical University at the age of 19. He was the main attacker of Western medicine and was assigned to the 10th Military Hospital of the Kuomintang after graduation. When the war of liberation began, Zhou Jiafu witnessed the corruption of the Kuomintang troops, left the troops on leave, and came to Changsha Renai Hospital to become a doctor there. In the fall of 1949, Renai Hospital was suspended. Zhou Jiafu, who had been away from his hometown for nearly 10 years, returned to his hometown Shahe Village. The people of his hometown learned that Zhou Jiafu was a senior military doctor and recommended that he set up a Shahe clinic in his hometown where he was still short of medicine and medicine. He was appointed as the head of the clinic. He led the medical staff of the institute to work hard and standardize the practice of medicine so that people in their hometowns and surrounding areas can receive medical protection.
