2010年8月27日,温家宝总理在全国依法行政工作电视电话会议上的讲话中,再次强调了依法治国、依法行政的极端重要性,并指出:“法治政府的核心是依法行政”。依法行政是我国政治体制改革的重要内容,是现代政治文明的重要标志,是贯彻依法治国基本方略、加快建设法治政府的必然要求。坚持依法行政,建立法治政府,必须严格规范行政执法、规范行政权力的行使。
