学界一般认为,《陈侯因(次月)■(敦)》铭文中齐威王“高祖黄帝”一语,是齐威王追认黄帝为远祖。为了把自己与姜氏区别开来,齐威王利用黄帝战胜炎帝的神话来神化自己的顺天应命,于是稷下诸子也积极为田氏的帝制运动造势,故《管子》对黄帝十分尊崇。但笔者以为这是对“高祖黄帝”一语的误读,其意实为远则祖述、效法黄帝,而非以黄帝为高祖。齐威王“高祖黄帝”的真实用意在于争霸,而《管子》对黄帝的推尊,目的在于引重之以入说而已,我们不应过度引申,认为这是稷下学者在为田氏的帝制运动造势。
