在生育力低下男子中睾丸大小及坚实度的临床评价一向被认为是很重要的项目。1944年Hotchkiss就已指出在体检中睾丸扪诊的重要性,并强调小而软的睾丸与不育的关系,这种关系已被多次证实,而且许多单位都已应用仪器测量来代替手感测量。作者用测压计客观测定了83名男性睾丸的坚实度。该测压计具有陶瓷压力传感器组成的手握式探头,其移动范围可测量并放大而产生压力图象,因而显示其压力值。坚实度测量时病人于仰卧位不作Valsalva氏动作,把睾丸表面的阴囊皮肤绷紧,测压计沿着睾丸前表面上下轴的四个标准部位重复测量10次取得平均
Clinical evaluation of testicular size and firmness in under-fertile men has long been considered a very important project. In 1944 Hotchkiss pointed out the importance of testicular palpation during physical examinations and emphasized the relationship between small and soft testes and infertility. This relationship has been repeatedly confirmed and many units have used instrumental measurements instead of touch measurements . The authors used a piezometer to objectively determine the firmness of 83 male testes. The manometer has a hand-held probe consisting of a ceramic pressure sensor whose range of movement is measurable and enlarged to create a pressure image that shows the pressure value. The patient did not make Valsalva’s motion in the supine position during the firmness measurement and tightened the scrotal skin on the testes. The piezometer was repeatedly measured 10 times along the four standard parts of the anterior and inferior axis of the testes
