籼糯2159是南京农业大学朱立宏教授用南京11号与I R29杂交育成的一个早、中、晚稻兼用型;丰、抗、优特性兼具的糯稻良种。1985年3月经江苏省品种审定委员会审定通过。1987年上犹县水岩乡引种作二晚试种3.5亩,收干谷1766公斤,亩产504.5公斤。该品种作二晚栽培,6月20日前后播种,7月20日前后移栽,秧龄30天左右,9月中、下旬抽穗,10月中、下旬成熟,全生育期120 Indica waxy 2159 is a hybrid of early, middle and late rice cultivated by Nanjing Agricultural University Professor Zhu Lihong with Nanjing Rn11 and I R29.
