中国的民营企业,特别是改革开放后壮大起来的企业,很多都是由家族成员由小到大发展而成。家族成员共同劳动,共同管理,在企业初创时的确有不可比拟的优势,那就是基于共同的目标和相互之间的了解,容易在决策时快速地达成一致。但是,企业越做越大,面临的问题也越来越多,特别是积累了一定的财富之后,家族成员之间就容易产生对企业的控制权和财富之争,到这个时候,有些企业就想到了要引入现代企业制度。无论是学术界还是企业界,很多人都认为家族化管理与现代企业制度是对立的。这种观点也有一定的道理,因为在国内外,不乏很多做得很大的家族化企业,既然家族化企业能做得很好,又何必一定要引入现代企业制度呢。
