根据我国1991年6月1日开始实施、2001年10月27日修订的《著作权法》的规定,著作权又称版权,是文学、艺术、科学作品的作者对其作品所享有的专有权利,包括作品的传播者在传播作品过程中所形成的权利。著作权法就是保护文学、艺术和科学作品作者的正当权益,调整因创作、传播、使用作品而产生的各种法律关系的一种专门的民事法律;其制订的基本原则是:保护作者的权利,促进社会公益,尊重国际惯例。期刊是一种典型的建立在原创作品上的编辑(汇编)作
