The field application of new salt-based high-density non-solid flushing fluid in the displacement of deepwater and offshore shelves was introduced. The new high-density rinse was developed on the basis of a new surfactant to ensure effective wellbore flushing, wellbore design parameters and displacement simulations. In addition, increasing the isolation liquid is conducive to reducing high pumping pressure and wellbore pressure. In the example, replacing with a conventional water-based rinse, the maximum pump pressure is expected to be 9000 psi, but the new design is slightly less than 3000 psi. High density wash solutions with a density greater than or equal to 17.5 ppg significantly reduce the pressure differential without reducing cleaning efficiency.
