随着市场竞争格局的加剧,在中国企业中占有较大比例的中小企业迫切需要管理信息系统化来加强企业核心竞争力。但是,中小企业由于其自身某些无法克服的局限性,使得ERP在国内中小企业的实施情况并不理想。中小企业如何有效地实施ERP系统并充分发挥其作用,进而提高管理水平,对我国广大中小企业的发展有重要的意义。本文通过作者所在企业实施ERP最终失败的教训来详细分析我国很多中小企业使用ERP没有成功的深刻原因,并给出改善中小企业实施ERP效果的一些参考建议,以期寻找中小企业ERP项目成功实施的方法和途径,为中小企业实施ERP提供借鉴和参考。
