目前全国公共就业服务平台建设发展很不平衡,极少数地区至今乡镇平台还未健全,有的地区平台建设名存实亡,根本谈不上什么标准化问题,更谈不上在农村行政村(社区)开展平台标准化建设,而江苏省如皋市村级平台建设已由2007年的框架设计到2010年的城乡广泛覆盖,发展到2011年的管理全面升级,创新服务经历了起步探索、巩固提高和标准化管理等初级到高级的三个发展阶段,其全国率先推行标准化管理,创新就业保障服务新模式的经验和做法值得各地学习借鉴。
