人民教育出版社历史编辑室自1950年12月建立以来,就承担了中小学历史教材的编写任务。几十年里,一套套历史教材编写出来。新编的教材总是在继承和发展原用教材的基础上诞生,随着时代的脚步,向前迈进。步入20世纪90年代的今天,历史编辑室的同志们和多年从事历史教学工作的专家、教师,经过艰辛的劳动,又在探索中编出一套变化较大的新教材。在这里,我想着重谈谈这套教材编写的指导思想。一、提高素质,加强基础教育改革的根本目的在于提高民族的素质。邓小平同志在几次谈话里都说到,提高民族素质,要从娃娃抓起。也就是说要从加强基础教育入手。为此,我们编写九年制义
Since its establishment in December 1950, the Historical Editing Office of People’s Education Press has assumed the task of compiling the history textbooks for primary and secondary schools. Decades, a set of historical textbooks compiled.
