This article reports the results of the first study on the mortality rate of 3,765 people who had been working for at least 6 months at the Pasteur Institute in Paris from 1971 to 1986. By the end of 1987, a total of 42,384 follow-ups were observed, of which 66 (0.2%) were untracked and 145 were dead, of which 123 were from death certificates. Referring to the national mortality rate, and according to gender, the five-year age group calculates the expected annual mortality rate from 1971 to 1987, and compares the observed mortality rate with the expected mortality rate. The overall mortality rate is lower than expected. According to the socioeconomic background of the researchers, this is not unexpected. Cancer and heart
