苗木从起苗、选苗、包装和运输直到栽上为止,要经过很大的时间。经过阳光暴晒的苗木用于造林,其成活率很低。但在起苗一系列过程中,要叫苗木根部完全不见阳光,这在生产中也有困难。试验证明,经过短时间的暴晒,仍不影响造林成活率。究竟红松、樟子松的苗木根系在阳光下暴晒多久就不能用了呢?我们曾做过如下试验。一、试验方法选用苗床中部的4年生红松幼苗和2年生樟子松幼苗,将苗木起出来,去掉根系上的土,在荫棚内选取合格苗50株为1组,红松8组,樟子松9组。然后按设计时间,单排放在阳光下暴晒,从早晨8时开始至下午4时止。凡达到设计要求的时间者,就立即在当地栽好,然后进行浇水,秋季进行统计死亡株数。试验地区为伊春林区红星林业局原红旗林场苗
