教历史,对我来说是一个新的课题。因为我没有专学过历史,这就增加了我在教学中的困难。当1955年下半年,领导上决定要我教历史课时,我对历史课程的教学目的,以及它在培养全面发展的社会主义社会成员的教育工作中的地位和作用是不够明确的。虽然“世界近代史参考资料”(北京市中小学教师参考资料编委会编)在这方面提供了原则的说明,但是如何通过具体的教学活动去完成历史教学任务还是有困难的.
Teaching history is a new topic for me. Because I did not study history, it increased my difficulties in teaching. When the leadership decided to teach me a history class in the second half of 1955, I was not sure about the purpose of teaching history and its place and role in educating all-round members of the socialist society. Although the “World Modern History Reference Materials” (Beijing Primary and Secondary School Teachers’ Reference Editing Committee) provides the principle in this respect, it is still difficult to accomplish the task of history teaching through specific teaching activities.
