语文教师要指导学生练点“背功”。选一些精采的章节或短文让学生背诵,这是提高语文教学效率的一个重要环节。因为通过背诵能使学生再三揣摩、细心品味文章所表达的思想感情,丰富学生的语言词汇,开阔学生的思路,从而提高学生的阅读欣赏能力和写作能力。有的文章,特别是文言作品,要学生一下子学得很明白是不大可能的,由教师先讲一讲,再让学生背诵,起初可能似懂非懂,但时间久了,多背几回,就会逐渐领会的。一些学生往往不愿意背诵,说背书难,花了不少工夫还背不会。因此,教师除了要向学生讲明背诵的好处外,还要在方法上作些指导。
