本文通过建立包含网络外部性因素的CES效用函数,采用市场份额演化的动态方法,考察了不同质量和成本优势下兼容性对新技术采纳的影响,并依据研究结果分析了新技术企业的兼容策略选择问题。结果表明:在网络外部性条件下,如果新技术具备质量优势、旧技术具备用户基础优势,那么新技术采纳的程度与兼容性成反比,当新技术存在质量和成本劣势时结果相反。基于研究结果,新技术企业的兼容策略选择取决于新旧技术相对质量的高低,若新技术占据质量和成本的绝对优势,则完全可以提高技术壁垒,选择与在位企业技术不兼容的策略以促进新技术的采纳。
