When the family business develops to a certain stage, if the business owner is still stubbornly using the narrow “family system” to manage the company, the company's heritage will not be very smooth. According to McKinsey’s research on family businesses conducted by the international investigation agency, the average life span of family-owned enterprises in the world is only 24 years, of which only about 30% of family businesses can be passed on to the second generation and can be passed on to third-generation families. The number of companies is still less than 13% of the total, and only 5% of family businesses can continue to create value for shareholders after three generations.
